Half Day – Tandjung Harapan Feeding Station Tour

This half day tour suits those arriving before midday at Pangkalan Bun. After you have been picked up at the airport by our Guide you will proceed to the port of Kumai to board our River Boat (klotok). The trip to The Rimba Orangutan Eco Lodge is two hours up the Sekonyer River and is pure magic as you sit on the top deck. Depending on time, you can check into your room at the Lodge where you can have lunch or if later you may have lunch on the boat on the way up en route to the orangutan feeding station. The Tandjung Harapan feeding station is at the park Headquarters only 15 minutes by klotok from the Lodge and begins at around 1500 hours. Here you will see your first Orangutans – a real thrill.
