Tangui and Harapan Camp – Dinner with the Fire Flies Tour

An early start with breakfast at 0700 leaving at 0730 for the feeding station of Tangui, one hour upstream for feeding at 0900. Look for Giant Squirrels, pig and many butterflies on the walk in. Here as at all the feeding there is a large Alpha male. After viewing the Orangutans, you can walk around the area. Back on the boat, you have an option to proceed on a 2 Km walk to see an Oil Palm plantation.
Lunch on the boat is at around 1330 when you will leave for The Tandjung Harapan feeding Station for the feeding at 1500. Here also there is a large Alpha male. After this feeding you may wish to drop into the local village across the river. You then return to the Lodge for bathing and a short rest.
At 1800 you leave for your evening dinner on the boat with the Fireflies in the Nipah Palms, a magic experience as the whole night is lit up by these amazing insects.
